MAESTRO HUFF CELEBRATES
YOUNG MUSICIANS AND BIRTHDAYS

Maestro Huff launched the 2009-10 concert season with a program of great classical music used movies (Round Rock Symphony, TX), and he christened the Tony Bennett Concert Hall at the brand new Frank Sinatra School of the Arts (Astoria Symphony, NYC).  Both concerts featured young music students on the stage with professionals.

Coming up are concerts in honor of Robert Schumann's 200th birthday (March 13), of dance music featuring Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty Suite and Jean-Baptiste Lully's remarkable Le Triomphe de l'amour (May 8), and romantic masterpieces by Beethoven and Dvorak (May 22). Maestro Huff also looks forward to chamber music performances, recording opportunities, and the release of his newest book (The Tao of Conducting). In addition to this, he will organize two international conducting workshops for professional conductors (with Maestro Kirk Trevor in March 2010 and Maestro Peter Bay in May 2010), and help produce two operas at the Manhattan School of Music (Faure's Penelope in December 2009 and Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro in April 2010).
