Nathaniel Huff, U.S. Army Officer
and Bandmaster, orchestra conductor,
composer, and teacher.
August 2013, 1st Lieutenant
Huff will assume the position of
Officer In Charge of Concert Band
and Associate Conductor of The U.S.
Army Band "Pershing's Own" in
Washington, D.C. (www.usarmyband.com).
Previously, he held the position of
Executive Officer and Associate
Conductor of the U.S. Army Training
and Doctrine Command Band (www.tradocband.com) at Fort Eustis, VA.
Maestro Huff guest conducts,
teaches, writes, composes, and
arranges whenever his busy Army
schedule permits, holding the music
directorship of the
Astoria Symphony Orchestra (NYC) and acting as Co-Director of the
International Conducting Institute.
His first book on conducting,
Tao of Conducting,
will be available on Amazon.com in
the very near future.
Maestro Huff is married
to tween/young adult novelist
Taylor Morris, and enjoys
hiking, jogging, biking, competing
in triathlons, traveling, and
drinking strong European espresso.
